i found this in the sprout state of social media report - 49% say it's now their main channel! what's surprising is that they still recommend sticking to 3 platforms max. seems like a lot can be done with just twitter, insta, and linkedin right?

i get what u're saying, but online personas can be pretty real too! People put in a lot of effort to share their true selves through interests and experiences even if it's not face-to-face. Plus, there are tons of platforms where people connect based on shared passions rather than just trying to impress others or show off something fake.

facebook vs twitter

both have over 2 billion users but tbh twitter is more real-time w/ its tweet limit u can share quick thoughts easily.
but
fb has a bigger overall user base and better for building communities around interests. just posting an update there could reach ppl who might not check instagram or twitter as often.
u get the gist? its all abt where ur audience is most active & what type of content works best in each platform!
