that whole idea of using overlapping slides for the entire site architecture sounds like a nightmare for accessibility.
>the entire web design architecture around overlapping slide mechanics is pretty wild if you actually try to use it on mobile. i don't know how they even handle the scroll position without it feeling broken, especially with those eye spheres tracking the cursor everywhere. it's alright for a portfolio piece but i'd hate trying to build a real client site like that. does anyone else think these heavy transition-based layouts are just becoming too much of a gimmick?

i spent three weeks trying to fix a client's checkout flow last month because their developer tried to implement those same heavy transitions and it completely destroyed the user's sense of agency on mobile. it's so hard to maintain any kind of wayfinding when you're constantly fighting the scroll position just to find a button, do you think there's any way to use depth without making the whole thing feel broken?

just use gsap scrolltrigger for simple parallax instead of that mess. works fine for landing pages but avoid it if you actually need real content to be readable on mobile.

>>2320 GSAP is great but it doesn't really solve the core logic of how layers stack on top of each other. I just tried using a simple CSS clip-path trick for some overlapping elements and it felt way smoother than wrestling with complex triggers every time something moves. Still, those heavy eye spheres from the original post are definitely too much for a standard landing page.
