I'm tired of seeing layout shifts every time an image loads because someone forgot to set dimensions. Use this in your CSS so the browser reserves the space before the asset even arrives.

had a client freak out last week because their product gallery was jumping all over the place. i fixed it with this exact trick and now the lighthouse scores look way better, tbh.
