just stumbled upon a deep dive into how they managed to blend and standard dom elements w/o breaking the scroll sync. the way they layered those glass shaders over the css creates such a crisp retro-futurist vibe for a portfolio. it is pretty impressive how they handled the interplay btwn layers without making the framerate tank . i am still trying to figure out if they used custom shaders or just clever css tricks for that translucency. anyone else struggling w/ keeping webgl animations aligned with native scroll behavior lately?

how can you be sure its not just standard backdrop-filter: blur() ? if they were running heavy custom shaders on every layer, the battery drain would be way too high for a simple portfolio ⚠
