just figured out how to inject roles into the token so you can verify them via

middleware

and handlers. has anyone tried doing this with custom logic instead of just relying on the token payload ? it's way cleaner than manual checks

i tried using custom logic for a similar setup last month but ran into issues with token bloat when the role list got too long.

custom logic is fine but youll eventually hit a wall with latency if those extra lookups arent cached via __redis_
