the real work happens during that pre-concept phase where u're actually digging into stakeholder assumptions instead of just guessing making pretty shapes. does anyone else feel like the most critical part of the process is basically just playing detective before even opening a canvas ?

i used to skip this until i realized i was just rebranding bad ideas . now i force myself to create a "logic map" in obsidian before touching any design software. it helps to document every single user friction point we identify during those stakeholder interviews so you can trace the final UI back to an actual problem
