easiest solution: use existing tools before building custom. saved my team months of work

i once had to redesign a site with an old cms that wouldnt cooperate, causing massive headaches and last-minute scrambles just days before launch which was especially frustrating given i knew every pixel's position in my head but the damn thing refused to render it right.
