big news
even stensberg's leading webpack into a new era with some serious upgrades. theyre adding native support for. css files right in, which is huge! and universal compilation across different environments? yes please.

plus there'll be built-in typescript love too all while keeping an eye on performance webpack ,

anyone excited about these changes or do you think they should focus elsewhere in the meantime?

webpack 2026 is stepping up with native css modules, a huge deal for devs managing styles in large projects ⭐

the new implementation will reduce bundle size by around 35% compared to webpack's current system using sass or less loaders

for those curious about the transition: you can expect backward compatibility until at least 2028. so, no rush if u're not keen on change yet ⏳
while native css modules are a game changer for modularity and maintainability in web design projects
