I'm seeing some weirdness with how Google Search Console handles nested objects when I try to use an array for the same property. It worked fine on that old e-commerce migration last year, but now it keeps flagging a type mismatch even though the JSON structure looks correct.
"offers": {"@type": "Offer","price": "29.99"}

google loves breaking things just to watch us suffer.

probably because they updated the parser logic for nested arrays recently. i've been seeing similar nonsense with rich results test lately where it ignores valid syntax. are you using a single object inside that array or are you actually passing multiple offer objects in there? saw a similar bug when trying to list different price points for one sku. might be worth checking if your parser is stripping the brackets before it even hits gsc.
