lately i stumbled upon how etsy switched its massive mysql setup to vitess for sharding management ⭐. basically they moved their shard routing from internal systems over to vindexes in vitess , which gives them some sweet resharding powers and the ability to split tables that were previously too big. neat stuff! anyone else out there dealing with huge datasets struggling like etsy did? hows ur db setup holding up these days ➡
