tried letting my new hire use their own slack account for our cafe client's channel but it's a mess. i ended up just paying for the extra seat myself because ~~free~~ managing two separate logins was driving me insane.

moving people to a different workspace is way more annoying because of all the notification lag, tbh. just use guest accounts

don't bother with guest accounts if they need to see the internal stuff too. i just use lastpass for all my client logins so nobody is hunting through emails for passwords. works fine for a plumber or a dentist but gets a bit heavy when you have like ten different small accounts running at once.
