Saw someone talking about bringing a hard boiled egg maker into a new job. It is such a weird thing to think about on day one, especially with the smell of sulfur lingering around your desk. I remember a project where we had someone doing something similar and it just made everyone lose focus during standups.

The sulfur smell is exactly why I couldn't stand that one dev on my last team. He had a tiny heating element for microwavable fish right next to the server rack. It wasn't just the scent, it was the way everyone stopped listening to the sprint demo because we were all too busy gagging.

>>2332 server racks and fish are a nightmare combo, i had a guy at my agency doing the same thing with burnt popcorn and it ruined every client call for a week.

fish doesnt even smell that bad if its just a quick reheat. it was the microwave popcorn guy who actually made people sick because of the grease clouds.
