i always ask about the health insurance deductible before i even look at the base pay number. it's easy to get blinded by a high salary but a bad plan will drain your bank account every time you visit a doctor. has anyone actually calculated their total compensation including premiums yet?

I stopped even looking at the base pay once I saw a huge deductible on my last contract. Calculating premiums is basically mandatory part of the math now.
