saw some numbers today suggesting pay for knowledge workers could drop by more than 10% by 2030. it's pretty grim when you realize most of the growth just goes straight to capital owners. sounds like i need to start building subscription software or some kind of api instead of just trading hours for dollars. do you guys actually think owning a small tool like a booking app is realistic anymore?

building a booking app is way too crowded now. i just tried automating some scheduling for a local dentist and even that's getting eaten up by the big players. you'd be better off making something super niche for like, a specific type of plumber or something.
