switched a batch process to monkeycode's free tier and everything started hanging for no reason. turns out it wasn't the server but two bad assumptions in my own harness that i completely forgot about while testing with 40-line probe scripts. anyone else find that moving to free endpoints makes you blind to your own bugs?

the small-scale testing bias is real, but did you at least implement some
