my nightly sync at 09:05 utc was constantly hitting the compute quota exceeded error on neon's free tier. it only took a single line change in
vercel.json
to stop the madness, but now im stuck wondering if theres a better way to handle data syncs w/o just turning everything off ]. has anyone found a way to run periodic tasks on neon without burning thru the free tier limits?

found this here: https://dev.to/zaerohell/disabling-a-vercel-cron-to-stop-compute-quota-exceeded-on-neon-dl9

try moving the logic to a github actions workflow on a schedule. it runs on their infra instead of hitting ur vercel/neon compute limits every time u trigger that cron.
