Hey there UX/UI peeps! Ever wondered about the 810 million folks out there using English as a second language? It's a vast group compared to native speakers (around 390 mil). These non-native users often have to reconstruct the context when they perceive info in English. It's fascinating, right? I mean, think about it - we tend to forget that many users don't have English as their first language. But here they are, using our products daily, making sense of our content . This article helps us understand the cognitive work behind those interactions and offers some insights on how we can design better for them! So, let's give it a thought - how might we tailor our designs to accommodate these awesome folks who navigate our products in English? Any ideas, peeps? Let's keep this conversation going!
