spent way too much time today feeling inadequate bc of some curated showcase on
figma community pages. it is easy to fall into the trap of thinking everyone else has mastered everyy single new plugin or motion technique overnight. we all tend to believe our peers are miles ahead in terms of
visual hierarchy and execution, but most of that is just surface level noise. people only post their polished wins and hide the messy iterations. i realized that much of what we see is just a highly curated illusion designed to trigger that specific type of anxiety.
the actual process is usually way more chaotic than the final render . if u are focusing on
user-centricity instead of chasing every trending aesthetic, u are doing fine. it is easy to
forget ignore how much work goes into the invisible parts of a product. does anyone else feel like they are constantly playing catch up w/ some imaginary standard?
