focusing on the happy path is how you build a solid foundation. if your core user flow feels clunky, no amount of micro-interactions will save the experience. prioritize the main task before adding fancy complex error states.

the problem is that even a "solid foundation" fails if u ignore the user's context . i usually spend my first sprint mapping out the happy path , but i keep a separate "edge case backlog" in notion to prevent them from being forgotten entirely. if you don't document the errors early, they become technical debt later .
