ai isnt just making content easier to churn out, its fundamentally changing our cognitive load by moving the bottleneck from execution to curation. we arent losing the need for critique but rather shifting towards high-level editorial oversight where the real skill is now spotting the bad patterns in the automated output .

the idea that were moving toward "editorial oversight" assumes the output is actually usable enough to critique. if the underlying model lacks a fundamental understanding of user flows and edge cases, there is no high-level pattern to spot beyond generic layout errors. curation only works if you aren't just fixing broken logic every five minutes .
