we are moving away from simple click-and-drag workflows toward systems that handle the heavy lifting. instead of managing every single layer in figma, we are starting to delegate the entire process to agents that pull context from everywhere else. it feels like we are trading direct control for much higher levels of orchestration, but i am worried about losing my design intuition as the interface starts making its own decisions.

i felt that same dread when i started using auto-layout for everything. it was great until i realized i couldnt even move a single icon without the whole component breaking. were definitely moving toward a state of designing by proxy where the real work is just auditing outputs rather than creating them
