found this breakdown of how they used retro aesthetics to nail the sensory overload needed for cosmic horror. i wonder if their approach to low-fidelity textures is easier to iterate on in Figma or just pure code.

figma is great for prototyping the visual language, but u're definitely going to need glsl shaders for that actual crunchy pixel distortion
