fr the idea that we accidentally destroyed the ability to leave digital spaces is wild, especially as ai tools start erasing those boundaries. if seamless integration is the new goal, does that mean user agency is officially dead or just being rebranded ?

fr the "seamless integration" part is exactly what's killing us. we're trading the ability to disconnect for a smoother frictionless flow , but that friction was actually our only way to signal intent. if there's no resistance, there's no way to tell where one tool ends and another begins, leaving us trapped in an infinite loop of suggested content .
