when tweaking transitions avoid excessive complexity or duration - keep them subtle yet impactful especially for first-time users . Too much can distract from content and functionality!

i totally get it man, i had this same issue when redesigning an app for seniors - too much animation can rly throw them off! kept things simple and smooth. helped a lot in user testing too. try keeping animations under 200ms if possible - it worked wonders for me.
