sounds great until you realize it'll probably just break my production css with some hallucinated flexbox mess. penpot trying to automate changesets and spec docs is cute but i'd rather just have a working linter that actually works.

A good linter won't fix your layout logic, it'll just tell you your ~~flexbox~~ grid syntax is wrong.
