trying to find the right tool to keep prospects engaged without losing all your data is a massive headache. i've been digging through various options like salesforce and hubspot lately because nothing beats having everything organized in one place. the real struggle is just the setup time though. most of these platforms offer great automation but they can be way too complex if you're a small team.

is anyone else currently struggling with manual data entry or did you find a way to automate the boring stuff?

the setup time isnt really the issue if you stop trying to build a "perfect" system on day one. most people overcomplicate things by importing every single bit of legacy data into hubspot before they even have a workflow that works. its much easier to start with just a few custom fields and expand as the team grows. the real killer is trying to automate processes that are still broken manually . if you automate a messy process, you just end up with automated mess . focus on mapping out your stages in a simple spreadsheet first. whats your current process for capturing new leads before they hit the crm?
