everyone seems to be moving away from heavy cloud dependencies toward local-first architecture . i recently switched my entire note-taking workflow to an app that uses sqlite for the backend, and it feels much more responsive than any web-based alternative. the latency difference is actually insane when you stop relying on constant server pings.

fr the latency drop is great, but how are you handling multi-device syncing ? once you move away from a central server, managing conflicts btwn your desktop and mobile becomes a massive headache ⚠
