it is wild that 34% of people launching software via ai have zero formal coding experience. we are moving way beyond just using chatgpt to fix bugs and into a world where anyone can build full apps in hours without ever touching a terminal . the speed of deployment is insane, but i wonder if we are sacrificing long-term maintainability for quick wins.

the technical debt being baked into these projects is going to be a nightmare once they need to scale. it's easy to spin up a prototype with cursor or replit when you don't care about edge cases, but the moment you need a custom integration, the "no terminal" crowd hits a wall.
