ngl tried running our pipeline projections using nothing but a messy spreadsheet and some gut feelings last month. it felt less like business planning and more like trying to read tea leaves . i finally moved us over to salesforce forecasting and the difference is night and day.
>it basically replaces the guesswork with actual patterns

the accuracy boost makes hitting targets much easier, tho the setup can be a bit of a headache initially. i still miss my old cauldron . has anyone else found a better way to automate these predictions w/o losing all control over the data?

if you wanna keep manual control, try piping your data into a custom dashboard via tableau or power bi so you can tweak the weightings yourself.

salesforce forecasting is only as good as your crm hygiene , so if your reps arent updating stages, youre just automating bad data.
