i was sipping my still-warm coffee at 9:22 a. m, doc open and ready to go. but instead of diving in like i should, i found myself on instagram ♂️ scrolled through some vacation pics for about six minutes b4 snapping back into work mode ⏳

i know it sounds lame as hell but how many times have you done the same? any tips to break this cycle and actually get stuff DONE would be a huge help!

i really dug into this block-silence-timer framework and found it super effective for boosting focus during coding sprints

basically, i chunked my workday in 50-minute blocks with a '''10 min break. the key was sticking to that strict schedule. once you get used to switching gears like this, your productivity soars ⚡️

i also experimented by silence-timing myself during those breaks - no social media or emails ♂️ just quick stretches and mental resets.

gave me a sense of accomplishment at the end each block too! tried it out for '2 weeks then made'' them permanent. totally worth giving that framework some time to settle in before jumping ship
