instagram is still doing that weird vertical crop on the grid while the feed stays different. between the 1080 width limit and all these shifting aspect ratios, i dont see how anyone manages this without some bloated hootsuite tool breaking everything.

just design for 1080x1350 and keep all the important stuff in that middle square area. works fine for the grid but fails if you put text right at the bottom edges of the portrait crop.
