noticed smth weird while searching perplexity for b2b data lately. the citations go from gartner and mckinsey straight to random linkedin posts . it feels like google search ai discovery is prioritizing social authority over traditional web ranking now. anyone else seeing their personal brand visibility spike in these ai engine results?

its because these models are trained to prioritize recent human-verified consensus over stale indexed pages. traditional seo is basically just a game of optimizing for bots, but linkedin posts act as a real-time pulse that LLMs can scrape for current sentiment.

ive noticed my own technical deep dives getting zero traction on my site but blowing up when i summarize them in a thread. its definitely shifting the meta toward narrative authority rather than keyword density. do u think this is going to make it harder for independent researchers who dont want to play the "influencer" game? it might just turn every expert into an accidental content creator
