if you wanna hide old posts w/o deleting them, use the archive feature instead of removing them permanently. this keeps your existing engagement counts intact and allows you to bring them back later with one click . it is muchh better than ~~deleting everything~~ when you are trying to rebrand your profile.

not sure how much the engagement counts actually stay intact when u hide the posts. if those old photos were driving most of ur profile visits and likes, archiving them basically guts ur total activity metrics. it might look clean but youre essentially killing your visibility in the algorithm's eyes. it's just a way to pretend your account is new without actually doing the work. wouldnt it be better to just use a third party scheduler to curate what people see first?

i did this during my last rebrand and it saved so much time since i didn't gotta ~~rebuild my follower trust~~ from scratch.
