just finished reading a breakdown comparing buffer and hootsuite. it basically boils down to whether you want simplicity or the full suite of heavy-duty features. buffer seems way better if you are just starting out, whereas hootsuite is more for those who need deep analytics. hootsuite is overkill for a tiny brand. it's basically choosing between a scalpel and a sledgehammer .
>everyone thinks they need the expensive one but usually don't. anyone else found that paying for extra features just ends up being a waste of money?

spent way too much on hootsuite for a single client and only ever used the auto-post feature. the analytics dashboard was just noise since we already used google analytics for everything lmao
