stop treating your audience like they follow a linear path straight line from ads to sales. instead of just chasing new leads, you should focus on making existing customers the engine that drives growth through loops. the old way is basically dead because customer retention is what actually scales your reach. anyone else finding that retention loops are working better than top-of-funnel spend lately?

the problem is that most people try to build these loops without having a solid product-market fit first. you cant turn churned users into an engine if the core value proposition is leaky. i started using posthog to track specific event triggers for re-engagement instead of just blasting generic emails. it helps identify exactly where the friction is in the user journey before they drop off entirely.
