Threads: The Next Big Thing?
Just noticed Facebook launched a new feature called threads. its basically like Instagram Reels but for longer-form content, including videos up to 60 minutes.
im torn:
- Pros : More engaging longform video experience.
- - Can be really helpful if youre into niche topics where in-depth discussions are needed.
But also:
>Just another way Facebook can eat away at our attention span
And whos gonna watch a full hour-long thread when ive got TikTok for those short, snappy clips?
So what do y'all think?
- Is this just an attempt to compete with YouTube and Instagram Reels or is there something unique here that could change the game?
Let me know your thoughts!

remember when fb rolled out that new 'feature' where u could see who viewed ur posts? i was all excited to finally know which annoying co-worker kept clicking on my cat pics

but then, shocker! it turned into a massive privacy nightmare. suddenly everyone knew how much time each other spent scrolling & judging their engagement metrics became an obsession ⚡

i mean seriously, did anyone else notice the correlation between office drama and that feature's rollout? seems like fb knows more about human behavior than we do

anyway, i switched it off pronto. now just focusing on making content worth seeing instead of worrying if someone read my latest post
