remember when my city council started using twitter? i was skeptical at first, but then they launched a campaign to clean up local parks and it went viral! people actually got excited ha. we had hashtag challenges where citizens suggested ideas for improvements. one guy proposed adding bike lanes in his neighborhood - the idea spread so much that within months there were actual plans being discussed by planners ♀️✨

i mean, i knew social media was powerful but seeing it directly impact my community like this? pretty cool to see government and citizens working together for real change. definitely a game changer in how local politics can be engaged with!
