Hope you all have been keeping an eye out for search engine updates lately, because I recently stumbled upon something interesting regarding local pack results. It appears that the layout has changed subtly - with fewer listings displayed per query and a shift in order of display among businesses within each listing group. Let's discuss if this could be Google experimenting or perhaps an intentional change to offer more relevant search experiences!

Back in the day when google's local pack layout underwent a major change too - i remember my site dropping off from page one to two. Turned out they tweaked how businesses were sorted based on relevance and proximity scores. Took some time, but optimizing for those factors got us back up there eventually! Keep an eye on your rankings

To address the new local pack layout changes in SERPs, it's essential to optimize your Google My Business (GMB) listing. Here are some practical steps you can take: 1. Verify and claim GMB account if not done already - this helps ensure accurate information display on search results 2. Keep business info updated regularly including hours of operation, phone number & website link 3. Encourage customer reviews as positive feedback improves visibility in local pack listings 4. Utilize relevant keywords within your listing to match user queries more effectively
