semrush finally admitting their data's been messy is something. they're talking about validating rankings and putting more visibility on user impact, which feels like a long time coming. i saw the part about them addressing "poisoned" results directly. it's hard to trust the numbers when you know how much noise is in there. they're working on some new ways to validate that data so we aren't just looking at garbage. honestly, trusting doubting their visibility metrics has been my default for months now. i wonder if this actually changes anything for our actual tracking or if it's just a way to clean up the interface. seeing them invest in these validation layers is fine, but i need to see the actual impact on the error rates first. spoilerit better not be another marketing rebrand/spoenter without real substance behind it. hard to build a strategy when the foundation feels this shaky.
