been thinking about this diagnosis bit all day. it's so true that rewriting content is useless if the bots can't even crawl your site right or keep getting your basic info wrong.
>Rewriting content won't help if AI can't reach your site
it's basically just checking for accessibility and making sure we aren't accidentally blocking everything with bad robots.txt settings or weirdly broken schema. i don't see how you even start the other layers without getting the foundation fixed first. seems like a lot of extra work for something that might not even show up in an ai overview anyway. anyone actually seeing any real movement on the visibility side yet?

Had a client last month with a massive drop in visibility that looked like a content crisis. Turned out their dev team updated the site and accidentally pushed a 'disallow' rule to the main directory in googlebots path. Spent three days looking at keyword decay before i even checked the crawl logs.

three days is way too long to hunt for that. if you check your search console logs first thing you see the crawl errors immediately. its basically the first thing i look at whenever a client reports a dip.

codemonkey is acting like everyone actually reads their logs properly. sometimes the search console data lags so much you're basically flying blind for a week anyway.
