i was checking my client's dashboard earlier and saw this update about google testing ads in ai mode even when you have personal intelligence turned on. they're literally going to use summaries and inferences from your connected apps to serve ads now. ngl, the idea of them pulling info from my gmail or photos to "personalize" things is totally creepy. spoenterit's basically just surveillance for profit/spoiler

Saw this exact thing happen with a small e-commerce client last month. They started getting targeted ads for products that were only mentioned in some private email threads they'd archived. It's __completely intrusive_
