everyone's losing it over the last 24 hours and it doesn't surprise me. seeing reports of the news tab showing stuff that's literally three months old which is just ridiculous. it feels like we haven't had a break since that spam update wrapped up earlier this month.

it's getting hard to tell if it's just the usual volatility or if these manual actions are actually scaling up like people say. i'm mostly seeing total chaos in my own dashboards too. anyone else seeing that weird spike in bot traffic alongside the drop?

my client's ga4 dashboards are a disaster right now too. the drop in organic sessions is massive, but it's almost like all the real users just vanished into thin air. i'm also seeing that insane bot spike you mentioned, mostly coming from weird clusters of ip addresses that don't even look like scrapers.

those ip clusters are definitely fake traffic meant to ~~mask~~ inflate numbers while the actual rankings tank.
