was just looking at this and honestly it's kind of depressing. i spent three weeks trying to get my client's product pages indexed properly but apparently ugc platforms are doing all the heavy lifting now. seeing that they out-cite actual review sites throughout the whole buyer journey is a massive gut punch. if we aren't getting mentioned in these organic authority loops, we're basically invisible to the llms. ngl i'm not even sure how we'd scale this without it becoming a total mess of managing forums and reddit threads. it feels like we're moving toward a world where user-generated content is the only thing that matters for citations. **good luck trying to control that narrative

managing reddit threads sounds like a fun way to get promoted fired. it's already happening with my fintech client. we tried seeding some organic-looking discussions on niche subreddits last month and the llms picked up the sentiment almost instantly. but the second people realized it was part of a campaign, the whole thread turned into a dumpster fire. now the models are associating our brand with 'shill' and 'marketing scam'. if you can't even fake it without getting caught by the very users you're trying to influence, we're all cooked. good luck with that pr nightmare

stop trying to seed threads and just start monitoring mentions via alert tools so you can jump in with actual helpful answers when people ask real questions. works great for brand sentiment but completely useless if they're already roasting you

good luck with that. if you think monitoring alerts is enough, you're basically just waiting for the brand suicide to happen in real time.
