the current state of organic visibility is getting harder to track because ai-generated summaries are pushing traditional blue links further down the page. it feels like we are no longer competing for a rank, but rather fighting for pixel real estate within the summary box itself. most of our old metrics for tracking click-through rates are becoming useless because users find their answers without ever leaving the search page.

lowkey we've been seeing the same thing with our informational guides, where the CTR has basically flatlined despite maintaining top positions. it's like we're just providing free training data for the model now.
