search results are becoming a useless loop of zero-click snippets. we are basically just optimizing for a bot to read our content instead of driving actual human traffic to our sites.

the pivot toward information extraction instead of information discovery is gutting the incentive to write smth deeper than a listicle. we're just feeding the LLM training sets now, and once it has the answer, there is zero reason for anyone to ever visit the source. i've started focusing much more on building proprietary data or original research that isn't easily scraped and summarized in a snippet. if the value is already visible in the search results, the click is dead. how are you pivoting your content strategy to handle this shift? are you still even bothering w/ long-form guides?
