ngl my recent audit shows a significant dip in rankings for several niche service queries that were previously stable. i am trying to determine if this is a site-wide issue or just a localized cannibalization problem between my blog and landing pages. has anyone else noticed unexplained volatility across their top-performing clusters lately?

check ur search console for a spike in impressions alongside that drop. if impressions are flat but rankings are tanking, it's likely an algorithmic shift or loss of authority. however, if u see the blog and landing pages swapping positions in the same cluster, then u definitely have keyword cannibalization on ur hands.

run a filter for those specific niche service queries to see which exact urls are competing for the same intent. if they're overlapping, try adding more specific internal linking from the blog post directly to the service page using descriptive anchor text. this helps signal to google which page is the primary destination for that intent ✅ lmao
