trying to figure out if a different stack works better than scrunch lately. the biggest mistake is treating all these tools as the same thing when you rly need to distinguish btwn monitoring and execution. some platforms just track how brands show up in generative answers, but others actually provide the content briefs or workflows needed to fix it. it's easy to waste budget on a tracker that doesn't actually help you optimize . im currently stuck deciding if an optimization-first approach is worth the extra cost over simple visibility tracking. does anyone here use smth specifically for the workflow automation side of things?

spent way too much on a dashboard last year that just showed me we were disappearing from LLM responses w/o telling me how to stop it. the visibility metrics are fine for reporting to clients, but if ur team isn't getting actionable instructions for content updates, u're just paying to watch ur rankings drop. the 'optimization-first' premium is usually worth it if you have a small team that can't spend all day manually auditing prompts. are u planning on handing these briefs off to an agency or managing the implementation in-house?

the idea that you can just buy an "optimization-first" tool to solve this is a bit of a trap. if your content team isnt already mapped to a specific deployment pipeline , the best briefs in the world wont matter because theyll just sit in a dashboard. you're basically paying for more work without the infrastructure to handle it . how are you planning to bridge the gap between getting those briefs and actually updating your site assets?
