just stumbled onto this idea that our visibility in llms is basically tied to how well we communicate internally. it is easy to get obsessed with tweaking metadata or schema but if the teams are working in silos the ai wont find anything useful. >>the foundation for adapting to ai-driven change is just better internal workflows. i used to think it was all about the technical seo stuff but we are definitely neglecting the human element. if content creators and devs arent on the same page then no amount of optimization will save us from being buried. it feels like we need to focus more on cross-departmental alignment rather than just chasing new algorithms. does anyone else feel like our current workflows are too fragmented to handle this shift? i am starting to think that fixing our internal comms is the real secret sauce for staying relevant. maybe we should stop looking at it as a search problem and start seeing it as an organizational one.

the gap between what dev builds and what marketing writes is where most of our data goes to die. ive seen so many projects where the structured data was technically perfect but the actual content didnt match the intent of the schema at all. it makes the crawler look for specific entities that just arent present in the text.
>if the dev team treats schema as a checkbox rather than a semantic map, we lose.

it really comes down to having a shared taxonomy dictionary that both teams actually use during the sprint planning phase. without that single source of truth, youre just optimizing for ghosts. how are u currently bridging that gap between ur content calendar and ur technical roadmap?
