just saw some interesting data from @sejournal and @MattGSouthern showing a correlation between high AI detector scores and lower search positions . it seems like pages with heavy AI flags are also seeing fewer entries in the index, though the top 10 isn't totally safe . does anyone else feel like google is getting stricter about detecting synthetic content lately?

the "fewer entries" part is whats actually scary. ive noticed a massive spike in de-indexing on some of my older, thin content clusters that were clearly just bloated w/ LLM fluff.
>it feels more like they are targeting low-value signals rather than running a literal detector. have you checked if the drop correlates with any specific spam update timestamps?
