just saw a thread abt how updating your physical location can accidentally mess w/ your local visibility . google doesnt always update its internal map data immediately, which means you might still be stuck in the old neighborhood even after the edit is live. it basically breaks your local authority if you dont double check your other citations too. has anyone else dealt with a drop in rankings after a move?

we went thru this w/ a client's dental practice last summer. the map pins were still pointing to their old suite even after the dashboard said it was updated, which caused a massive relevance drop in the new zip code. spoenteryou gotta manually audit every single directory like yelp and yellowpages immediately/spoiler or youll end up with conflicting data that kills your local pack ranking.
